Decision one: how the lid is built
Three constructions appear in production, at very different prices.

The upholstered lid is the cheapest per litre of storage by a wide margin, because a fabric panel over a metal frame replaces a large area of handweaving. It also gives a soft top that doubles as a seat or a surface. The fully woven lid is the durable choice for heavy open-and-close cycles, and the leather hinge is the part that determines how long it lasts.
Decision two: the interior
Bare woven interior is standard and correct for back-of-house storage. Regency upholstery fabric lining is the option when guests or customers see inside: hotel rooms, retail display, spa treatment areas. Lining also stops small items catching on the weave, which matters for linen and textiles.
Decision three: whether they nest or stack
Ask for this explicitly. Boxes of the same external dimension do not automatically stack safely once a lid is added, and stacking behaviour changes with lid construction. If the boxes will live on shelving, specify the stack height you need and let the sample prove it.

All at a minimum of 50 pieces per model, ex-works, referenced at USD 1 = IDR 18,000. Dimensions are adjustable, so a shelf-specific size is a normal request rather than a special project.
Finishing for commercial environments
Custom colour finishing protects the cane against mould and termite damage in addition to matching a palette. In humid climates and in properties where storage sits in unconditioned areas, that protection is the reason to specify colour rather than natural.

Which lid type lasts longest in commercial use?
A fully woven lid with a genuine Grade A leather hinge and fastener. The hinge is the wear point, which is why leather is specified there.
Should storage boxes be lined?
Line them when the interior is seen or when storing textiles. Regency upholstery fabric is used for this. Bare woven interiors are fine for back-of-house.
